This may have flown under the radar, but Gamescom 2023 may be a breakout event for Chinese game developers. There's multiple announcements from various studios, large & small, to be announced at the event or concurrently. Given that Gamescom is an international games expo, we may be expecting Chinese games to hit global markets in a big way within the next 1-3 years:

Big Players:
Timi Studio (wholly-owned subsidiary of Tencent)
- Delta Force: Hawk Ops, a Battlefield-like FPS

Netease
- Project Mugen, an anime GTA-like open-world game (as far as I can tell)

Mihoyo
- Zenless Zone Zero, a anime action RPG

Small Players/Independent Studios:
Game Science
- Black Myth Wukong
----(some longer footage than the IGN clip blitzo previously provided)

Kuro Games
- Wuthering Waves, an anime open-world action RPG

This is the most anticipated game for me in ages, and since the first trailer multiple years ago they've finally done a number of public and reviewer trial/demo playtests.

I think they might have a trailer to be revealed in the next couple days as well.
They're planning for a summer 2024 release, so hopefully they might give a release date.

Wow would you look at that! The game has skulls and blood in it! I was told by China experts that China banned them lol

Just wanted to say Starfield comes out in nine days for those with "early access" (aka Premium Edition)! First new Bethesda game in like ~ eight years! Very hyped for it!!!

30 min deep dive on gameplay

Gameplay Trailer
Would be surprised if it ended up bug free given that is its Bethesda. Also how many re-releases will they do of this game after skrim

Agreed! This is the first game they have released under Microsoft and with the delay to August 31 / September 6 you have to wonder if that was to insure a relatively bug free experience?

I always expect some bugs in a Bethesda game, I think it just comes with the nature of how their games work, but I do think Starfield will stand out as a relatively bug free experience.

We will have to see, but I am more excited in regards to Chinese game releases than anything else. Sure people might get made at censorship but considering the current crop of AAA western games by and large doing quite poorly with the odd successes like Zelda and Baldurs gate which we must admit are very good, I am interested in new blood from China picking up where western games are increasingly left off

I expect a nice beta run of starfield and the community will have fixed it at the end of 2024 if there are nodding tools day one.
