Anyone see this trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 coming out this November? You don't see it here but apparently the enemy is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the year 2025. The trailer you don't see China directly but apparently they're playing on China monopolizing rare earths as the conflict. What I've gathered on reading info is China has hacked into unmanned military hardware and uses the US's own stuff against them.

This will be one of the bigger game titles of late to use china as a major antagonist, i think.

And le sigh, another fricking cod game... eurgh.

I never play COD games even though I love FPS. I simply can't stand their political slant.

Anyone else play Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas?

Modern Warfare was the last and only thing closest to resembling something related to the word "factual". Everything else, particularly MW2 and even MW3, are so full of shit. Dual-welding guns, Russian invasion over some petty massacre..oh im getting chills thinking about how fake everything is. This one is just even worse. And to make it worse, they add futurism into it. Apparently they're running out of ideas already. It's so true COD is for stupid little kids now.

This I won't even bother looking.

It's actually a character named "Raul" that hacks Chinese and American stuff to instigate a fight.

In the trailer you actually do see a couple of Chinese weapons. Some TEL set up, and a missile with what looks like the PLA insignia on it for some reason.

So I'm watching the E3 convention video gaming coverage on TV and I see this from Call of Duty Black Ops 2 where you get into what they say is an F/A-38.

Hmmmm... That looks familiar. So I do a little search in my library of Chinese military pics and found this taken at one of those Chinese military exhibitions.

To be fair the display shown at zhuhai was noted to be very similar to the F-35's.

Yeah some of the icon symbols are similar but the display is virtually exact. Activison probably did an internet search and it popped up. I did one for the F-35 and they showed what some thought was the J-20 cockpit display.
