A study into low-noise pumpjet for UUVs. Detailed translation is beyond my ability, but the paper helpfully has an English abstract.

Some of the pictures look very familiar, especially for those that have been watching the development of jet engines (chiefly high bypass turbofan). The b & c pictures in section 4 are very similar to the fan in high bypass turbofan engines. After all, turbofan pushes air and pumpjet pushes water, so the CFD result might be transferable after accounting for the different medium they work in.

Lieutenant General
A concept small unmanned submarine for assaulting surface targets. It features a streamlined body, a retractable electro-optical mast, and is armed with six 324mm torpedoes. It uses a diesel electric generator to provide propulsive power.
