For context, in all of 2023, China only got 19 foreign orders for LNG ships.
The Koreans would be seething right now
What should be more noted is that the specifications of these 18 ships are completely different from the recent orders from Qatar obtained by the Koreans.
South Korea obtained an LNG carrier with a carrier gas capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and a cost of US$230 million.
The 18 LNG carriers of Hudong Shipyard are self-designed by Hudong Shipyard, with a gas carrying capacity of 271,000 cubic meters and a cost of US$300 million.

Yes, some of us have been here a while. This forum has changed much over the years, however it's still one of the best ones out there in regards to military discussions.
