I think I wrote about them a while back. They are huge. Largest VLCC player and makes the most marine engine now. lol. Funny how quickly that got built up.

Anyways this pattern should hopefully continue. With the success of the counter-cyclical memory chip investments in Korea the Chinese government must finally realise the power of investing heavily into technology and infrastructure during a downturn/glut in the market. Traditionally chinese businesses and local governments have had a very short term mindset which was very pro-cyclical.

China's first domestically built submarine cable laying vessel have now entered service. It has the world's largest capacity for submarine fiber optic cable.

It can hold 8000t of cable with 18000t displacement.
