Do you know how much 1 of these ships cost? 3000 tons with the main boom makes lifting those new GE off shore turbines a breeze. (like 25% load capacity lol) You could use these to install the substations in a single lift too....

Big news as MOL ordered an ice breaking tanker from Guangzhou Shipyard International. The tanker is intended to ply the Arctic route Russia and Europe.




Not sure as the article didn't say anymore but this could be a Double Acting ship. What is a Double Acting ship?



Under heavy ice conditions, these ships turn around and head tail first to act as ice breakers.

GSI (Guangzhou Shipyard International) also scored wins from a S. Korean car carrier liner that looks to be affiliated with the Hyundai group. Any reason why they didn't let Korean shipyards get this order?
