The Yixing Integrated Circuit Equipment Industrial Park project with a total investment of 1.223 billion yuan officially started​


According to Yixing's official WeChat account, construction officially began on September 20th at the Yixing Integrated Circuit Equipment Industrial Park. Located northwest of the Economic Development Zone, the park boasts convenient transportation and a prime location. With a total investment of 1.223 billion yuan and a total land area of 207 mu (approximately 16 acres), the park will focus on attracting and serving companies involved in the design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing of integrated circuit components, as well as equipment manufacturing.

In recent years, Yixing has closely aligned itself with Wuxi's integrated circuit industry chain, achieving breakthroughs in major materials projects and gradually establishing a development model focused on specialized electronic materials, with chip manufacturing, packaging and testing, and equipment and component manufacturing mutually supporting each other. As one of Yixing's primary hubs for developing the integrated circuit industry, the Yixing Economic Development Zone has already attracted over 20 integrated circuit companies, including two listed companies and nine provincial-level or higher-level specialized and innovative enterprises.

Moore Threads and Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) jointly build a highland for domestic computing talent and innovation​


On September 21, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of Harbin Institute of Technology Weihai, Moore Threads and Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) School of Computer Science and Technology/School of Software officially announced the launch of the construction of a joint education base.

Innosilicon has officially announced its third-generation GPU, the Fenghua 3. The company calls it the first domestically designed full-function GPU, combining a RISC-V CPU with a CUDA-compatible graphics core on a single card.
Unlike earlier Fenghua models based on PowerVR IP, Fenghua 3 adopts OpenCore’s RISC-V Nanhu V3 project as its foundation. Innosilicon claims the new GPU can handle a wide range of workloads, from AI training and large-scale scientific computing to CAD, medical imaging, and gaming (importantly: cloud gaming).
For graphics, the card supports DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.2, and OpenGL 4.6, with hardware ray tracing enabled. The company demonstrated the GPU running games such as Tomb Raider, Delta Force, and Valorant, although no frame rate or settings data was shared. Fenghua 3 also supports up to six 8K monitors at 30 Hz. However, we should note that the company doesn’t mention desktop/laptop gaming specifically but cloud gaming as one of the use cases.

For AI, the card is equipped with more than 112GB of high-bandwidth memory, the highest capacity yet on a domestic GPU. A single card can handle 32B and 72B-parameter models, while eight cards can reportedly support DeepSeek 671B and 685B models. Innosilicon also confirmed compatibility with Qwen 2.5, Qwen 3, and other model families.
Fenghua 3 also brings features like vGPU virtualization for data centers, DICOM medical-grade grayscale display support, and YUV444 color for CAD and video editing. The card works with Windows, Android, Tongxin, and Kylin Linux systems.

Zhejiang Nanxin's new advanced semiconductor chip industrialization project officially started​


According to the official WeChat account of the Third Company of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new advanced semiconductor chip industrialization project in Zhejiang Nanxin, undertaken by the Third Company of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, and the promotion ceremony for the third quarter major projects in Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone were successfully held recently.

Located in the Jiashan County Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang Province, the project, with a total construction area of approximately 43,000 square meters, primarily comprises a semiconductor chip testing facility and a comprehensive R&D building. Upon completion, it will further boost the scale and capabilities of Jiashan's integrated circuit industry chain, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the local economy.

According to information, Zhejiang Nanxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was established in March 2025 and is headquartered in Zhejiang. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nanxin Technology. Zhejiang Nanxin focuses on integrated circuit manufacturing, chip design, sales and related services, forming a complete industrial chain closed loop from design, manufacturing to sales and services.

It says their own, based on an open source RISC-V core. Their previous chip Fenhua-2 was using Imagination IP

On September 23, 2025, Shenzhen Wending Juxin Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its first domestically developed high-precision stepper lithography machine (WS180i series) was successfully shipped, mainly used in compound semiconductor fields such as Mini/Micro LED optoelectronic devices, optical chips, and power devices.

The WS180i series of steppers shipped this time are reportedly targeted at compound semiconductor applications such as mini/micro LED optoelectronic devices, optical chips, and power devices. They are flexibly adaptable to diverse substrate materials, including silicon wafers, sapphire, and SiC, meeting diverse photolithography process requirements.

Public information shows that Shenzhen Wending Juxin Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development of semiconductor chip manufacturing equipment. It was established in 2023. The company's products focus on the development and manufacturing of semiconductor process equipment. It also has overlay and key dimension optical measurement equipment, ultra-precision optical imaging quality evaluation systems and other related equipment.

The first phase of the Nanxun Yangtze River Delta Semiconductor Glass Substrate TGV Industrialization Base has been topped out.​


On September 22nd, Nanxun News reported that the first phase of the Yangtze River Delta Semiconductor Glass Substrate TGV Process Equipment R&D and Industrialization Base project has entered a critical sprint phase. The project is located in Guangming Village, Jiuguan Subdistrict, Nanxun District, bordering Jiuguan Avenue to the north and Hengyi Road to the south.

According to the relevant person in charge of Nanxun City Group Jinxiang Real Estate Company, the project is expected to complete the topping-out of the main structure in December 2025 and be completed and delivered in June 2026.

The project is being invested and constructed by Suzhou Jingzhou Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., the only advanced manufacturing company in China capable of supplying large-scale, complete wet-process lines. With a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and a planned area of 60 mu (approximately 16 acres), the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 150 sets of TGV glass substrate semiconductor process equipment. Upon reaching full production capacity, it is expected to generate an output value of 800 million yuan and 50 million yuan in tax revenue.
