Has this been shared before? Not entirely certain of its credibility, but here's a brief summary translation:

XX-15 high-pressure single-crystal turbine blades:
- R&D began in December of 2015.
- Design passed appraisal in February of 2018.
- Two sets of casting blanks completed in February of 2019.
- Blades already installed on an actual engine and are currently undergoing testing.

XX-15 low-pressure single-crystal turbine blades:
- R&D began in May of 2018.
- Casting blanks for prototype blades handed over in April of 2019.
- The first appraisal meeting and handover of remaining casting blanks are planned for June of 2019.

I was thinking about the significance of this one...that they’re making casting blanks now seems to suggest some work is starting to set up production now.

Another excerpt on WS-10. I'm not sure when this document was published, so I can't place it precisely on a timeline. In any event, this is old information.

XX-10 high-pressure single-crystal turbine blades:
- Has passed the initial appraisal and been tested for 500 hours.
- Has achieved small-batch production.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has approved sanctions against Chinese buyers of Motor Sich .

The Chinese paid more than $ 2.5 billion for the Ukrainian engine plant. But they will not be able to use the plant now. Apparently, it will not be possible to return the money either.

Who was sanctioned for three years:

Skyrizon Aircraft Holdings Limited, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands;

Hong Kong Skyrizon Holdings Limited, registered in Hong Kong, China;

Beijing Skyrizon Aviation Industry Investment Company, registered in Beijing, China;

Beijing Xinwei Technology Group Co., Ltd, registered in Beijing, China;

a citizen of China, Wang Jingwei (Wang Jing).

What they suggest:

Asset blocking;
restriction of trading operations;
ban on transit through the territory of Ukraine;
preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine;
ban on transactions with securities;
the ban on changing the size of the authorized capital in Ukrainian companies in which the participants of the sanctions list own a share of ownership or influence the management and activities of such companies.

Does anyone know the current state of the WZ-10 turboshaft? There are quite a few articles that claim it's a 1600kW engine and is installed on Z-20, but I haven't seen much conclusive evidence on both claims.

There are also some pictures of a turboshaft that is claimed to be WZ-10, but I'm not sure if it's just a model or an actual project.

That's bitter sweet.

Bitter because China wouldn't have access to high performance Helicopter engines and Ukraine would see counter sanctions.

Sweet because China will pour more money into Chinese enterprises.

Ukraine has become a defacto protectorate.

It was to be expected. I don't think it will impact helicopters at all since most Chinese helicopter designs aren't based on Soviet heritage but are instead licensed clones of western designs or their own technology with engines manufactured 100% in China.
What it might impact is the L-15 which just recently made a major order to Motor Sich. But if necessary that engine is also manufactured in Russia for the Yak-130 so I think in the long term the impact will be limited.

I expected this to happen given how the coup was sponsored by the US and the recent Ukrainian governments all bend the knee to the US.

But then why was Skyrizon there in the first place? Certainly not window shopping.

There is something that Ukraine has that China wants. Something that is worth 2.5 billion. I don't care about the money but I do care about the lost opportunity.
