Sooo... Motor Sich plans to not sell to Russia, or China. What other customers does it have?

Turkey. It is for Turkey that the Ukrainians want to sell the shares of the machine-building plant requisitioned from the Chinese

Kiev tried to sell shares of Motor Sich to Turkey, which China has already bought

The Ukrainian government's deal could turn into a major international scandal.

Ukrainian Minister for Strategic Industries Oleg Urusky tried to sell the Turkish side 50% of the shares of the aircraft manufacturer "Motor Sich".
Ankara received the offer in August. The only problem is that the majority stake in the company belongs to Chinese investors. They had previously agreed to invest in the company, hoping to gain access to Soviet technology. It is noteworthy that Ukraine also promised to transfer them to Turkey.

Well, and African countries. Sells engines to Africa after major repairs.

And Vietnam

Why does china china need ukrainian tech? doesnt china already produce its own helicopter engines?
It does but as you'd have read China just gave out an order for hundreds of al-222 engines to Ukraine for the L-15 Light trainer. But this could be explained away by saying that it is wasteful in resources and skill to develop and set up a AL-222 alternative in China.

Other engines include - D18T Turbofan as well as a veritable number of helicopter engines.
As for China requiring them, that's the question, don't you see? Why do China need it when it is presumably self sufficient.
Maybe it isn't self sufficient after all. To what extend China needs them are also a question.
Chinese Helicopter engine for the Z-10 (W-9) wasn't powerful enough when it debuted. That's a fact. There was also news about an upgraded WZ-9.
Maybe Motor Zich could help with Helicopter engines?

Motor Sich products are much more diverse than just helicopter engines. These are rockets and turbines for power plants and industrial pumps. Here is their website. In the "Products" section, you can view the assortment.

And even UAVs

January 18, 2021-Ground tests of the new Bayraktar Akinci heavy attack drone have begun in Turkey, the press service of the Baykar company reports.

It is specified that the new UAV is equipped with two AI-450T turboprop engines of Ukrainian production, assembled by the Zaporozhye Machine-building Design Bureau "Progress" named after Academician A. I. Ivchenko in the first half of 2020. (part of motor Sich)

The developers refer Akıncı to the class of "heavy" drones. Its take-off weight should be 5.5 tons, and the combat load weight should reach 1350 kg.

The wingspan of the Bayraktar Akinci is at least 20 meters with a length of 12.2 meters. Weapons or attachments can be placed on eight external suspension points. The device must be able to stay in the air for up to 24 hours and operate at altitudes of up to 12,200 meters, reaching speeds of up to 360 km / h.

In Kiev, a promising Turkish UAV is called a development in the interests of the Ukrainian and Turkish armed forces.

Two Russian engineers were sentenced for supplying sensitive engine manufacturing technology to China. They are all from Russia's most important engine production giant, and they were once corporate technical directors at Saturn Research and Production Complex in Rybinsk.
