The West threatening to form an alliance to gang-up against China...? They already did that and it's called the West. Failed at it before now so they have act like it's something new because everyone knows they're innocent little little blond girls wearing their best Sunday church dresses and are only now working against China because committed the greatest crime of all and that's not bending the knee and pledging blind loyalty to the West. Just like with Trump, someone else is expected to sacrifice the most not having China their number one customer anymore. Yeah the world is going to stop selling to China and don't make any money because the West says so? The only way that can happen is the West has to pay all the countries that do business with China what they would lose doing what they want. Which Western countries are going to cough up their money. They're not providing those resources. They're in competition to buy those resources. They only way they will win is paying more than normal. It's an empty threat. They're greedy first. Yeah they don't want to admit it but that's why it'll never work for them.
That's why the West needs the poor (India) and the racist (Australia) to be willing to act as cannon fodder, ready to sacrifice their own national interest for the "West".
The Philippines learnt that lesson well enough; all the "thought and prayers" and "premium expensive american weapons" don't mean shit if the west are too pussy to actually draw blood.
Come to think of it, the West often makes use of non white janissary cannon fodder for their armies, eg turks in NATO, and now Indians in QUAD. The purpose of such non white cannon fodder is to soak up Chinese bullets so that the white aryans can come in and declare victory, like they did in ww2.

China expects to meet poverty alleviation goal, sustainability the next test

With over 90 million rural people lifted from extreme poverty over the past seven years, the government says it is on track to achieve its 2020 goal.

But the success could falter if authorities shift priorities after declaring victory on rural poverty, analysts say.

“Once poverty alleviation is no longer a political priority, if funding from the government and state-owned enterprises dries up, many will fall back into poverty,” said Alfred Wu, associate professor at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.

China imposes heavy penalties on Australian wine; naturally the whiners in Australia have already started squawking and yet, i don't hear nothing from the Wolverines in Canberra...

Don’t know why China imports so much wine. In particular, red wine just don’t go with 99% of Chinese food, yet 99% of the time red wine are served.

Its only a matter of time, Scomo's days are numbered, especially when the rest of there allies in the UK, Canada and the USA are about to go through one of the worst times in there history and a thanks giving that is about to become an ultra spreader so bad that instead of 100s of thousands of infected, it will soon go into the millions infected each week or even days. Just imagine the look on that old farts face when he sees his heroes go own in flames from self immolation.

Looks like China had copied Trump style rebuttal, At least the Chinese doesn't use the word UGLY to described the Australian
Hi ansy1968,

Just my opinion, this is a serious situation now. There is no way out either. The Australians have to kow-tow, or at least get rid of Morrison man. Then they can start discussion that list of 14 items the CCP put forth. I have not even bothered to read that, but probably just normal points of contention.

That is how these fights should be. They should be protracted struggles, and inflict real damage. Too much talking does not work. A fight is a fight.

Australia probably just waiting for the Americans to come to their recuse. The Americans can bar Chinese goods, or issue more tariffs, or ban Huawei. It worked so well the first time, they might try that again.

Get the Germans to ban Huawei. Get to big mama.

Dare.

Double dare!

:p :D
