No. Pre-burner and turbine are both tested to as near as actual operating condition as possible with the fuel and oxidizer supplied to it with different piping from those of the turbopumps.
After rethinking, I think I know what you mean. The pre-burner oxygen is not fed by the main pump. They re-wires the piping of oxygen path. The oxygen feed to the pre-burner is by external pump that is not part of the engine.

Now things are getting confusing. What kind of pump are you talking about here?

Here is the diagram of YF-100 from article "Study on Deep Variable Thrust System of LOX/Kerosene High Pressure Staged Combustion Engine".

In the oxidizer path, there are two turbo-pumps, one is booster the other is main. The gas generator (pre-burner) is fed with oxygen through the oxygen main turbo-pump (blue). The yellow path is the oxygen path. The orange path is the gas generator and exhaust that drive the main turbine. As you can see that the main oxygen turbo-pump has only one in and one out. There is no way to run this pump with water while feeding the gas generator with oxygen. This is my point of #6767.

The pumps supplying the fuel/oxidizer to the pre-burner are outside of the system under testing. The pumps are not part of the system (i.e. not in the system as shown in your diagram above) and are only present during the testing stage to supply pressurized fuel/oxygen to the pre-burner.

Anyway, is it also possible they are testing the system as it's shown in Fig. 1 above, but without igniting the fuel and oxygen mixture at the place of the thrust chamber?

I think your thought is based on the 100t figure. However, CZ-9's payload figure has been 140t for more than 10 years, recently new figure 150t was mentioned. Luan Enjie's recent speech was "100t class", instead of "100t exactly". The "100t class" has been used in many research papers to refer to the proposed CZ-9/Heavy lifter, but in the mean time PPT states 140t. With 140/150 LEO (LTO 50t) being set, your concerns are not needed.

CM+SM+LM sent in one piece was never the plan.

Slightly off topic but in a similar way, the 055 has been described in Chinese media and officialdom as a "10,000t class destroyer" -- which is similarly only indicative of the general weight class/minimum displacement/minimum capacity of the ship/rocket.

Not indicative of the maximum displacement or capacity.
We should be vigilant of that word ("class") in future as well.

I deleted that post after realizing what you replied in this post. But it was too late.:)

Long March 7A-Y2 is on the launch pad, launch will probably take place on the 12th. Payload is classified.
Hope XJY-6(2) is the prototype sat with Membrane Optical Imager in geostationary orbit for real-time video: 1m resolution from GEO. Will replace conventional optics with foldable plastic orbital telescope. Waiting so long for it.
DoD DARPA also developing this giant folding space telescope under the MOIRE program.

Interview with 李洪, Deputy General Manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, here's the interesting part:

"Besides the construction of the space station, the 14th Five Year Plan also contains one other 'big fella' to watch out for. Our nation is currently developing the super heavy lift Long March 9 in the 100 ton to LEO class, four times the payload capacity of Long March 5. Currently its 500 ton kerolox engine development is actually successful. This rocket will be responsible for manned lunar landing, Martian exploration and other missions. Li Hong says it is possible Long March 9 will achieve maiden flight within 5 years. 'Once these technical challenges are overcome the construction will happen at a rapid pace as we've already prepared for it. I believe it can be achieved towards the end of the 14th FYP. If it achieves four times the payload of Long March 5 then it will be able to deliver much more payloads to deep space and open up many more modes of exploration, including experimentations post Lunar landing. This will greatly expand the avenue for scientific exploration as well as practical application of new scientific developments.'"
