Via Jsch Now 30X3 that mean china has 90 spy satellites to keep watch on CBG. so does anyone still question China ability to track and monitor CBG?

One rocket three satellite! CZ-2C successfully launched Yaogan-30 group 05 satellite
China Aerospace Science and Technology Group
Today

At 11:57 on July 26, China used the CZ-2C carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center and successfully sent three satellites of the Yaogan-30 Group 05 into orbit. The launch was a complete success.

The CZ-2C carrier rocket that carried out this launch mission was developed by the First Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The rocket is the first "golden rocket" in China to successfully perform missions in all three launch sites in the interior. This launch is also the first aerospace launch mission performed by this type of rocket this year.

Yaogan-30 05 satellites are mainly used for electromagnetic environment detection and related technology verification.

This launch is the 54th launch of the Long March II C series launch vehicle and the 308th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.

First stage has controlling fins to reduce (control) the splash-down area. A first step test of reusable launcher.

This list includes up to October 2018. Total 88, removing the orbit-decaying ones (useless) there are 72, plus the recent 3, total 75 on orbit. That is all types of Yaogan satellites from the beginning.

woww 75 is a lot, I think China now have more spy satellites than any other countries (inc Russia), apart from the USA. Wondering how many spy sats the US have?

What if the new Space Race is about efficient space entering? Adding grid rudders reduces drop zone size by 70%. With controllable grid rudders it will be only 100m*100m. Can't wait to see the VTVL demonstrator modified from CZ-7 2nd stage at the end of the year.

I was wrong in my prediction on twitter! Apparently the second stage engine fairing on this Long March 2C is remained attached to first stage. I wonder if this is the same for all other Dongfeng-5 derived Long Marches.
