Chinese ships use water cannons against Philippine ships. The Chinese Coast Guard used water cannons against Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources vessels that were en route to Scarborough Reef in the South China Sea. The Chinese side first demanded to leave it, saying that Scarborough Reef was Chinese territory. The Filipinos ignored the warnings, insisting they were in their exclusive economic zone. In the disputed waters of the South China Sea, incidents periodically occur between the Philippines and China.

The article clearly says the Thai leaker harmed Thailand the most as their neighbors will recalibrate military procurement to exploit this. Next most harmed is Pakistan who manufactures these. VT-4 is an export model so China is only affected in terms of the hit to sales revenue that will likely result. They will probably feel incentivized to sell an improved export model that addresses the leaked vulnerabilities.

Are all soldiers TODDLERS nowadays that they couldn't keep their big f..ng mouth, mind, fingers shut, nor the discipline to not commit such idiocy?

That soldiet ought to be imprisoned for a very long time to deter idiots like him from committing serious breach of military secrets.
The problem today is information can spread far and wide with ease now due to internet, phones, computers being so available and easy to use. Not much in our modern sphere of living is secret anymore, we're in a information golden age, we've never known so much and been so interconnected with the globe like we do in todays times. An ex cia agent from the 80s said they can monitor you with any device without your knowledge and jack into your personal devices via usb charging ports.

There's a machine translated version of that document in the Chinese export vehicle thread. I wonder how close are the specs of the VT-4 in comparison to contemporary Chinese tanks. I'd imagine it'll be slightly better than a type 96B but more protected since it's a good 10 tons heavier.
