本报讯 日前,“中国海监26”船在广州黄埔造船厂正式交付中国海监北海总队。

“中国海监26”船长77.39米,宽10.4米,排水量1290吨,双机双桨,主机最大功率2380马力,双机并车航速大于20.5节,全船定员43人,续航力5000海里,自持力30天,无限航区。该船交付标志着海监船建造项目二期工程1000吨级Ⅱ型全部4艘船已顺利建成。该型船是目前中国海监系统设计速度最快的专用执法公务船。
as mentioned before, this is one of the 4 type 2 1000 ton class cutters for CMS. It is also the fastest cutter in China.

and now, a little bit on FLEC's new cutters. First, it got the 5000 ton class YuZheng-312 (I think converted from one of the East Oil ships) and then got YuZheng 311 and YuZheng 310.

随着近5000吨级的中国渔政312船被接回总队,总队装备建设继渔政311、310船之后,再上一个新的台阶。局党组高度重视新形势下总队建设问题,为切实加强总队建设和渔政船管理工作, 3月28日至29日,吴壮局长、杨朝雷副局长率局机关各综合部门负责人到总队进行专题调研,广泛听取加强总队建设和船舶管理的意见和建议。

  在调研座谈会上,吴壮局长指出,总队当前的装备、人员、任务、形势等都发生了很大的变化,大型渔政船越来越多,任务越来越繁重,对队伍素质和管理工作提出了新的更高要求。这次开展调研活动,目的就是为了听取大家对加强总队建设和船舶管理的意见建议,促进局机关与总队的协调配合,切实推进总队管理迈上新的水平。希望大家畅所欲言,讲实情,说真话,摆问题,提出意见和建议。

  吴壮局长一行与总队党委成员、机关人员、在港4艘渔政船分别进行了座谈,大家围绕总队基础建设、队伍建设、人员思想状况、安全管理、工资福利待遇、业务技术培训、职工业余生活、干部培养以及与局机关部门的工作配合等方面,积极发言,提出了许多意见和建议。

  吴壮局长认真听取了大家的发言,并时而插话询问。他要求有关职能部门对大家提出的问题要认真研究落实,该解决的尽快解决,不能解决的要解释清楚。他强调,大家一定要高度重视总队的变化,要增强责任感和使命感,以更高的标准,更严的要求,进一步加强队伍建设,提高管理水平,完善各项制度,加强协调配合,确保新形势下各项工作任务圆满完成。

the 1500 ton class Haijian-84 has officially joined south sea branch of CMS. It has 1740 ton of displacement and has a range of 5000 nm travelling at 14 knots with endurance of 40 days.
新华网广州5月8日电(记者王攀)崭新的1500吨级新型海监船“中国海监84”,8日在广州长洲码头正式加入中国海监南海总队船舶编制序列。该船是国家海洋局海监舰船、飞机建设项目二期工程中7艘海监船之一,它的入列标志着该期工程中1500吨级船舶建造任务全部完成。

  在当天的入列仪式上,国家海洋局南海分局局长李立新说,截至目前,中国海监南海总队共拥有船艇13艘,飞机3架,其中固定翼飞机2架,直升机1架。“中国海监84”的入列,标志着南海区海监装备水平迈上了一个新台阶。

  “中国海监84”船长88米,船宽12米,型深5.6米,吃水3.581米,排水量1740吨,定员50人,航区为无限航区,按14节/小时的巡航速度,续航力为5000海里,自持力40天。

  据介绍,“中国海监84”是目前中国较为先进的海监执法船,入列后将承担起中国管辖海域维权巡航执法、海洋环境保护与海域使用行政执法等任务,兼顾现代海洋综合科学调查和勘探任务。为满足海洋水文、生物、化学、地质等调查作业的需要,该船还配备了5000米测深仪、声学多普勒流速剖面仪等装备。

Rescuer ship "Dong Hai Jiu 116" moors at a dock in Shanghai, east China's, June 23, 2011. "Dong Hai Jiu 116" was officially added to the rescue fleet of the Shanghai-based East China Sea Rescue Bureau under the Transport Ministry here Thursday. The newly-launched rescue ship, equipped with helicopters and able to sail a maximun of 10,000 nautical miles, is designated for rescue missions in the East China Sea.

With these many separate services, do they ever pool their assets together and do joint operations. Cause to me their jurisdictions overlaps sometimes, and it seems to inefficient to have all these service rather than just one coast guard under a single department.

Nice looking vessel. Do they have a hanger? What is their weapons and sensor fit?

I'm wondering how they compare to the new US National Security Cutters (the third of which is undergoing trials now...they are nice vessels, here's the Straton, NSC #3 completing builder's trials (this monthj)
