DF-41 was appparently cancelled many years ago. No DoD´s china annual report since 2002 has mentioned it. And there has never been recorded any test flight. Aparently it was a new project, but due to economical/technological problems, it was replaced by an upgraded DF-31, the DF-31A

Even for that was a test for a project of that level... people like us wouldnt be able to know it anyways... the chinese are always good at hiding their under the table stuff and lying about it..

come on, they couldnt be hiding a project of that magnitude from western intelligence and media all these years. Something substancial would have leaked by now

Ok, Im sure CIA or the CIAA knows alot of big secrects about just any nation in the world... but that doesnt mean they would tell us or the media lol... And i doubt the medias has an intellgence branch that is skilled enough to dig something like that out... plus its not like something that everyone likes to hear anyways

Why would DoD/CIA keep secret of a chinese big weapon like a ICBM? They want to announce all that they can from china´s military in order to build up the "china threat" so that congress pump more money in to the DoD. An ICBM that can reach all the USA is the last thing that they would keep secret from the public
Plus there is a lot of media and individual interest in PLA, both chinese and foreign (the numberous blogs are a proof of that). In a sense they are an intelligence branch to the public. And its definately something that many people would want to hear (including me)
