The methods used by US to subvert small third world nations or ones where there is institutionalised American corruption will not work well on India.

US is not rich enough to buyout India completely, and India's institutional corruption is its own, not America's.

Under the nationalist Modi regime, India is mostly interested in eating from every single table in the room. They're powerful enough that they can't really be forcefully stopped.

The problem i see with india under modi is they increasingly turning into religious hindu extremism which produces outright racism, blatant abuse and even genocidal tendencies against its own muslim minorities

Until how long will the muslim world tolerate indian behaviour towards muslims? Especially countries with proven track record in supporting islamic extremism such as saudi arabia, isis/al-qaeda could not ask for a more fertile breeding ground, i think india is heading towards major internal unrest in the coming years

Somehow i feel sorry for these Chinese americans, when they grow up surely some of them will become scientists, they will endure suspicion as "enemy within" all their life, they might be wrongfully accused as spies, prosecuted, even jailed just because of their ethnicity, basically they have to look over their shoulder all their life, i wouldn't wish that kind of life on my worst enemy
