I heard about this for some time now, there are even talks from doctors that if he sustains any further damage it will be life threatening and will cause him to retire from the game. Just think how many Yao wannabies in China will be dissapointed. On lighter note Liu Xiang is back on the track again.I agree. That is shameful. I hope those boys get to keep those baskeballs.
Have you guys heard that Yao Ming will miss the whole next NBA season??? Why did he wait so long for surgery??

But one day an Asian man was among the runners, he seemed out of place but took olympic Gold, World Champion title and broke the World Record. that man was Liu Xiang (the man that China wept about not being able to join Beijing olympics), thats why we Asians view him highly, because he shows anything is possible!

Actually members of the womens rowing team , have been there and done that in the world championships of past years. They actually deserve more recognition than they have been given. After all China was the first Asian country to make the break through and be cpmpetitive with their European counterparts.
Meanwhile womens cycling performed well in the last Asian Games and hopefully they too may make a break through before too long.
