If you hate China's Hong Kong so much, why represent them in Olympic? Have the decency to igve your space up to the next best man. Well, since he likes black so much, he wouldn’t mind being put in Beijing’s black list.

Which will also solve his sponsorship issue since he will have zero sponsors in future, thereby removing any possibility of a clash.

That’s if he ever gets selected for anything in his life.

Maybe the Koreans and Americans were right to bring their own food after all....

Swimming, skeet shooting, diving, weightlifting, gymnastics, table tennis
China lost out on at least 6 steady golds yesterday. It's gonna be take a miracle to reach 30+ gold this year, especially when the events are biased toward America/Japan this year.

That's nothing. Skateboarding and 3 vs 3 half court basketball are both Olympic sports now! But the most bullshit Olympic sport of all is still equestrian.

Interestingly, they rejected Karate, which, despite my being no fan of Japan, I believe deserves to be an Olympic event especially if Taekwondo is.

Sepaktakraw, despite being very poorly-known, is an incredibly amazing and dynamic form of volleyball played only by kicking; I believe it deserves to be an Olympic event.

Anyone knows who decides new events or the amount of events in each category? I feel like swimming events will get taken away once China decides to pour more money into it and start winning like the wealthy Western countries. Can they just do that or will there have to be more consensus?

Westerners can basically do whatever they want, their lobbying is too strong
Swimming already has the most events and somehow they managed to lobby for 3 more.

The moment China wins in swimming they'll add more nonsense and white people sports like 3x3 and skateboarding
