Let us celebrate the beginning of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Time for me to pour myself some Malbec and enjoy the games.

Cheers,

The name you gave this is not something someone can tell what it is on the main page. Keep your names short and descriptive.

Changing name to:

Where can I see the world cup in the US on TV? Is ESPN carrying it or do I need some 'special' channel which I am probably not a subcriber to?

Spoiler.

Brazil scored four times and won the opening match against Croatia (3-1).
Uh...if they won 3-1, and scored four times, I have to presume that they also scored Croatia's single point.

Was it 4-1?

I guess you're like Popeye, not a football fan. Own goal, shooting into your own goal, score granted to the other team. Just like you score a friendly fire in a battle field. You scored a "kill" but the one who died is your own fellow.

Well, then, it is as I thought.

Their four goals were three for them and one for Croatia. Croatia actually scored no goals themselves.
