In my whole life I've watched one entire soccer match..1978

Argentina beat the Netherlands 3–1 after extra time in the final of the World Cup. I remember just surfing through the channels of my TV and saw the Argentina side saunter on to the field through a sea of confetti. While the crowd chanted Argentina,Argentina,Argentina,Argentina,Argentina!!!!!.. I was intrigued and watched the whole match...in Spanish no less. No US networks carried the game.

The 2-1 win for Argentina will make Miragedriver a well man..that and God.

Speaking of Argentina..

Argentina,Argentina,Argentina,Argentina,Argentina!!!!!

The most satisfying goal for me was the goal of the century - by Maradona against England in 1986. He dribbled from the center of the field, passed a few defenders before beating the hapless goalie. Before this goal, he scored a dubious goal that he dubbed was the "hand of God". So the later goal left no doubt about its integrity.

Well I still at home with the flu. Now on day four, but feeling better, just a little dizzy. But then again I feel that way all the time……

Brazil is not troubled by many other nations, but Mexico has been giving it fits lately. Mexico has beaten Brazil seven of its last 13 meetings (though Brazil beat El Tri in last year’s Confederations Cup in Fortaleza, where Tuesday’s game will be played). Though it was not at the senior level, Mexico also shocked Brazil in the gold medal game at the 2012 Olympics and many of the players who will be on the field Tuesday also played in that title game. This is also a match up of two of the best fan bases on the globe.

I think the reason that futbol (soccer) is so popular is because we have lots of women fans. Here are some attractive ladies futbol fans. Yes the pictures are all clean

I think soccer is the only sport that transcends all Countries and Cultures apart from being blessed in haviing such attractive female fans.

Please excuse my ignorance in wines, but you drink pure Malbec wine?. I thought it was a variety of Grape, with its juice used as a blend in a variety of wines

P.S.

"Well I still at home with the flu. Now on day four, but feeling better, just a little dizzy. But then again I feel that way all the time"

Bossess in South America must be pulling their hair out in frustration because of absent workers down with the Flu because of the World Cup or too much Malbec

What a fantastic free kick by Chile what a touch the second goal was

Spanish players look tired and have given the ball away so many times

Latin American football at its best good for the home fans to see their teams win

Spain the defending champions team is on it's way out of the World Cup that's a first I think

In other news a Amazon tribe in the jungle has predicted that England will reach the semi finals they also said the odd are 5000:1 lol !!

Uruguay vs England tomorrow
