Although CAMM has been suspected of a higher range than the 25km+ quoted by MBDA, you should not take it as a fact. CAMM only weighs 100kg meanwhile 50km+ missiles like the ESSM weighs up to 300kg.

Will it be the follow up to the 052Ds - That is, 052E, i.e. the Block 4 (hypothetical) Arleigh Burkes of the PLAN?

Or will it be the follow up to the 055s - That is, 055B, i.e. the Liders of the PLAN?

Feeling kind of excited about this statement.

Interesting. I presume that would be the designated code name for the next block of either the type 052 or type 055 program.

051, 052, 053, 054, 055, 056 have been taken up.

057 rumoured allocated for for next generation frigate. So what is available for next generation DDG would be 058 or 059. Most likely 058.

Although the 058 minesweepers only has 4 members, and they all have been retired in the early 2010s.

Whether the PLAN will reuse the same designation number (058) for their next-generation destroyer class is still a question mark.
