on fire safety for a certain reactor compartment design, published by the 701 Institute (formerly Wuhan Ship Design Institute).

Abstract: The FDS simulation software was used to study the influence of cable fire on cabin in the typical location under special environmental conditions. The numerical results showed that the fire power and ambient temperature have great influence on the surface temperature and heat flow of key equipment. When the power of the fire source exceeds 6 MW or the ambient temperature exceeds 50 ℃, there is a failure risk of the adjacent equipment, so the amount of combustible and the initial ambient temperature of the cabin should be controlled. The ambient humidity and ventilation have little influence on the temperature and heat flow distribution of the fire field

Pop3: 我们的核动力航母吧,已经是正在进行时。
Our nuclear-powered aircraft carrier has been already on active work in progress.

The statement was made after he did another pundit explanation on why "sea trial" (海试) doesn't actually exist and it is called "sea trial" (航行试验).

Full text of why "sea trial" is not "sea trial" can be seen here.

Did pop3 mention/keep stressing that the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is the 4th one for China (i.e. right after CV-18 Fujian)? Because the last time he mentioned that being the case was in April 2022.

Also, judging by his way of wording on "work in progress", we just want to know: "When can we actually see the first module appearing in satellite imageries??"

Alas, no.

I mean it is almost certain that Type 004 will nuclear-powered and built in the No.3 Shipyard in Dalian.

Is that important?
Of course. Having 3 carriers versus 3+1 carriers certainly means a lot of changes and effects - finance, crew and material resource management, fleet distribution and operations, wartime deployment strategies and tactics, etc etc.

Also vis a vis the 004 CVN, for instance.
