00X/004 future nuclear CATOBAR carrier thread

The drydock is one reason I noted before that will likely indicate Type 004 dimensions. And as I also mentioned, infrastructure is designed around anticipated capability. Therefore notions such as "They would have to move the cranes..." etc are IMO not plausible. Realistically PLAN tends to err on the side of caution in most things military capability, therefore I dont see them building a new carrier of extravagant dimensions either.
Well, lets not forget the photo of one of the QEs being apparently built in what looks like a ridiculously small drydock, it's like they built it in a shoebox. So if push comes to shove the far larger JN or DL drydocks could conceivably house much lager carriers than even the 004, which already based on what information we can glean so far seems to be heading to being the biggest carrier ever built, though of course we'll be 100% sure of the real dimensions in a few months.

Very rough measurement suggest current ship is ~320m without the bow installedView attachment 168899
I suppose we are somewhere between the 18 month and 24 month mark.
Comparing to this picture from June, the assembly progress has been quite rapid.
