Thank you. This shipping document is more convincing. It is a document showing that this vessel flipping tool was transported from Dalian Shipyard to Dalian Nuclear Power Petrochemical Company on July 21. The document states that the dimensions of this tool are 7.09 x 5.27 x 5.36 cubic meters. In comparison, the dimensions of the company's main product, the HPR1000 reactor pressure vessel, are 12.58 meters high and 4.34 meters in diameter.
Sorry, guys, I don't want to be a killjoy, but I would like to clarify that the purchaser in the first procurement announcement was Dalian Nuclear Power Petrochemical Company, one of China's major civilian nuclear power manufacturers, so it is perfectly natural for it to procure equipment for transporting reactors. Based on the announcement alone, it is impossible to establish a definite link with the propulsion system of the 004 aircraft carrier.
So, what's the conclusion? Seems DL shipyard is indeed building a nuclear-powered vessel, but we still don't know whether it's a aircraft carrier or not.
Also, the shipping direction is from shipyard to its manufacturer. Table shows, the shipping reason was the container tool had finished its purpose, which indicates the reactor is already installed & sealed into the ship?!

This only indicates that the shipping tool was returned to the reactor manufacturer, but does not indicate that the reactor has been installed. As can be seen from the shape of the reactor pressure vessel (assuming that it is similar to the one used on ships), it may have been transported lying flat, but after unloading, it must be stood upright. This tool is used to stand it upright. After that, it may be necessary to install other attachments and load it into the cube-shaped container.So, what's the conclusion? What kind of ship other than an aircraft carrier would use that nuclear reactor? If it were an ice-breaker, would it have been publicly announced by the relevant scientific body some time ago already?

If these blocks are actually modules for the 004, then I think the transport tenders are not for the 004. If they were, they probably would have been issued before the major construction on the 004 had begun.
i also don’t think JN would be so adventurous as to actually build a nuclear power merchants ship other than icebreaker. The number of ports in the world that would welcome a nuclear powered merchant ship is probably limited. For the moment a nuclear powered merchant ship only makes sense if operate primarily to and from Chinese ports. This means something like an icebreaker, not something whose commercial value depends on foreign ports allowing it do dock.
