Contenders for Indian Navy P-75I Submarine Project
According to Indian English-language daily newspaper Hindustan Times, the Indian Navy recently submitted a Request for Information (RFI) to six shipbuilders to build six new submarines as part of the Project 75(I) (P-75I). Valued at €8.3-billion, India's biggest submarine procurement to date, P-75I is set to scale-up the Indian Navy submarine warfare capabilities. Important criterias that will guide supplier choice will be the Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system, the means proposed to increase “endurance and stealth capability, anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare capability, and land attack capability” as well as other aspects such as transfer of technology (ToT).

Here is a brief overview of the likely 6 contenders for P-75I:

Well you know, how the West always criticize China on violating International Law bla bla bla, and yet, what India doing here is absolute clear cut, no dispute whatsoever the violation of international law, and now the whole West is as silent as crickets on a moonless night.

That only means, there is no such thing as International law, the so call International Law only applies when it suits the West's interest, if this is the case, if the West does not criticize India, I don't ever want to hear the West speech on China regarding International law.

And I hope China takes full advantage of this precedent that India have provided for China, I hope China breaks all the international laws for its own interest when China gets even stronger, and each time that China do, they need to always bring up the West's silence right here right now to shut up whoever is using International law to criticize China.

You know, BD probably won't be back because of whiney little posts like this, that blame the US for everything, this is the Indian Military thread, not the bash the US/West thread???

I think you've worked yourself up to a "hissy fit",,, so take a chill pill please and spare the rest of us, thankfully SDF is a place where both sides of the coin can be presented in an adult manner??

I think sanblvd need to learn any " law" will be used to each parties full advantage and that is it, they are not charities.

And what India is doing is India's concern, got nothing to do with the US. If India did it to suck up to trump, then that is their choice.

It a patrol vessel...not a frigate. Used for complete different things and there so the true FFGs don't have to do those kind of patrol tasks.

You need to understand more about the different classes and what they are used for.

it's like a Coast Guard cutter type thing for the Indians.
