There are reasons to believe that Russians have drone superiority on the battlefield. UK's RUSI is claiming very high Ukrainian drone attrition rate due to Russian jamming.

The Russians also do a good job of popping fixed wing UAVs like Lelekas, using Iglas, Osas, Tors, Pantsyrs and even Buks.

At some point, flying from a height, a fixed wing UAV escapes the jamming bubble and often won't be detected by human senses, allowing them to observe unmolested. The lack of Ukrainian close range AD --- many of whom previously destroyed by a grinding campaign involving Krasnopols and Lancets --- allows Orlans to fly unmolested, then target enemy assets with lasers that is used to guide precision munition like Krasnopols. This enables the artillery to hit even moving targets with one strike.

Courageous trying to get their people out ? Or just putting themselves behing the cover of the destroyed to be able to flee while walking ?

You can see there is a track of removed dirt that wasn't there on the previous picture. Seems an engineering vehicle might have tried to clear the mines on the sides of the read to create a path for a recovery party which might have gotten ambushed as well

I don't buy those excuses.

According to American government media, when Ukraine is performing well, that is because they used western tactics. And now that they're getting destroyed, it's because they "can't let go of their slavic roots" (lmao).
According to government media. Warontherocks is more of an opinion platform for military personal and actual analysts. It isn't a propaganda machine for the masses to consume as it contains verbiage that would fly over most people's heads. Second of all, this article was published before the offensive. Finally, Slav culture (which is a generalizing term) wasn’t mentioned. Read the entire article first.
This offensive was planned by NATO and no different from other offensives planned by NATO. They moved in and tried to use speed and numbers. But this time, there was enough Russian forces to make a defensive line.

I can guarantee you that if this offensive had taken ground, any credit for taking said ground would immediately be given by US state sources to be due to "NATO training and tactics".

What we are seeing here is the baptism of NATO equipment in its first real shooting conflict. "Battles" against shamefully weak opponents that barely have RPG-7s as anti tank and foes that had a handful of SA-5s as their entire national air defense is nothing but a joke.

Just as Russia had not proved itself by stomping on south ossetia and chechnya and the reality of Russian doctrines were shown in the opening battles of Ukraine, we are now seeing the reality of NATO ground tactics being shown, for the first time against a real enemy that has all the basic weapons, command and logistics of war.
The rest is conjecture. Frankly speaking, I won't address it as it would spiral into a debate of hypothetical's.

That photo again. Something about this image feels a bit off, those of you who are good at spotting photoshop what do you think?
What feels off to me is the arrowhead armor. It indicates it is at least Leopard 2A5 model, or possibly higher. I have not heard of more advanced model than 2A4 being sent to Ukraine.

I am going to say it out loud for you. This is blatant racism. All the victory are by superior German engineering all the defeat are by inferior Slavic execution.

Forgot to add at least three or is it five French AMX-10 losses. There was a picture with three lost or abandoned followed by another picture with two more. There's also the confirmed loss of a Swedish CV-90 but that's on another front. Don't forget the loss of the TRML-4D radar that was hit by Lancet, then it and the Iris-T was finished off with Krasnopols.
