I would love to have a little refrigerator in my car. Who wouldn't? Only Americans that don't want to admit China has something they don't. Seeing that guy eating with a spoon and driving on its own Americans regulators would use that to ban the car saying it encourages reckless behavior. If you didn't know Americans don't want to acknowledge something that wasn't started by a white is a good idea hence why they want to ban TikTok.

terrible numbers for SAIC. VW and GM sales in China will continue to drop. What does SAIC do then? It has a lot of factory and workers but no demand.

SAIC still has MG, which they are exporting a lot to Europe. The Shanghai government and SAIC should step up, by building a gigafactory for Nio, the same way that they did for tesla.

Joint ventures with foreign partners are really more of a handicap than help. Automakers got complacent getting free money from their 50% stake without having to do any brand building of their own

Ironically the most successful state owned brand is Changan because they don't have successful joint ventures and stuck with their own name.
