Ah, I just think that there is no way that the tree and the leaves could be black.
Well the J-10B was said to have flown in December last year, well into winter.

But I'd go with your saying that it's a black and white photo. The tone of the colours change even though it's in grey. I'd say that suggests it's a black/white photo of the prototype J-10B we've seen earlier.

I edited a previous pic of a J-10B with the colour saturation as 0. Just making it in black and white really.
Similar to the photos by Deino?

Nice job with the photoshop, but if they change the color of the photo in photoshop maybe that qualifies as PS.

OMG, I was also sleeping while looking at the pic, a grey tree with grey leaves isn't that normal actually. So disregard the paint job.
But everything else still fits, IMO, wich is why I'm most sure that's a real one.
Flight testing seems to have started, been steped up. Now I also await more pics in the near future.
BTW, is there any hint where those pics were made?

Ohh come on guys ... these two picture are - at least IMO - the last proofs !!

They are real and and end of the debate about PS or fake.

They are both a black & white version of a yellow/zinc-cromate primed aircraft !

Regarding WHERE ?? ... I would say CAC-home !

Cheers, Deino

Yeah, moving on.

It's interesting that the pictures show the line on the planes nose on the left side as well. It's either more proof of ESA vents (one on each side), or it's an ECM antennae.

The lines are at least definetly not refuelling probes anymore.

Wow, those are some great photos. But I have to wonder if it's PS. The PLAAF has never used such a good paint scheme as I know.

I dunno, something about it whispers PS to me. Experts?

Paint scheme? I don't think there is any paint at all in the plane. The photo is in black and white. You can clearly see the panels in the plane. Its obviously "naked", just primer without any finishing coat of paint.

Yeah I later got to that conclusion as well >.>

Given how crystal clear the aircraft is... the edges look rendered with anti-aliasing, rather than the imperfection and blur of a real photograph.

I would say there is definitely a chance this is CG... which would explain why they made it black and white and PS'd a tree in front of it, to make it look more realistic.

Very small chance. But now-a-days its impossible to tell if something is real or fake if you have skills.
