Does the PLA have ship-launched missiles with a range of more than 1,000 km?
That would be YJ-21 AShBM which has a range of 1500-3000 kilometers.

Although, there are reports of HN-3B AShCM entering service with the PLAN in the early 2000s which has a range of 2000-3000 kilometers, yet not much else is heard or seen regarding the missile itself till now.

Do we have a rough idea of YJ-21's range. current speculations range from 700 km to 1500 km. I think 1500 km is too much of a stretch given the small size of YJ-21 relative to 1700km-range DF-21 class ballistic missiles. However, 700km sounds too small, especially if YJ-21 is capable of the sanger trajectory. Anyone with an educated speculation?
my guess is around 1500km.

with that range, when US fleet is shooting tomahawk at mainland, 055 will be able to shoot back while staying in the first island chain

Honestly what is up with the Hong Niao(HN) series of missiles. Is it actually in service or has their designation been changed?

How do you achieve such range with a missile that is less than 9 meters long and 0.85 meters in diameter? Not to mention that you need a 250-500kg warhead to carry the necessary punch?
