i dont think 5937 killed out of like 1,150,000 active duty to 2 million reserve duty troops from Russia is going to stop their lack of bodies unless you are have some kind of dark humor i dont understand or got the ukrainians accidentally mixed up with Russians? I hope the ukrainian militants have gas, running water and electricity this coming winter and wont be cold and hungry either.
What does having a low number of killed have to do with not having enough bodies to hold the gains Russia painstakingly accumalated in Ukraine? Its pretty clear they need more manpower in Ukraine and this partial mobilisation slated for the Ukraine war already proves it. Having more manpower will open up more options for the Russians

Ukraine sources like kyiv independent admitted that over 10k of their troops died in like september 14 or 15 in their counteroffensive plan with 5000 russians dead if. Meaning the actual numbers that are not ukrainain sources are far worse and the body count could have been stocked higher until today. Their inital operation was anti-terrorism and thinking the euros would crack before winter. And because they do not want to sit around in winter they were just going to leave ukraine with even less resources for this mobilization the weather for ukraine is still not that bad.

The Russians are struggling with logistics as it is.

What are they going to equip this new army with? How are they going to feed and supply them?

is this western analyst talks like Russia would give up in a few days because they would be out of fuel and supplies while the timelength instead was more than 200 days? I kid you not there are sources like that and from your response i wouldnt be surprised if you believed it.

I think industrial mobilization will be more important here, especially munitions. An extra 300k isnt going to be effective if they're all sharing the same artillery shells. Massively increase the number of 152mm shells, 120mm mortar and Kalibrs etc. Care should also be made to maintain as many vehicles as possible. Dont want to end up in the Ukrainian situation where everyone rides around in SUVs

Logistics is a problem that can be solved by throwing more man and machine at it.
Man problem has just been resolved by the partial mobilization, hopefully.
As for machine well, Belarus just gained the

Would this give some credence to the rumors of Russia buying ammunition/shells from North Korean that appeared some time ago?

Ukraine had like the 22nd strongest army in the world, trained for 8 years and god knows how much that rank has boosted when they got supplied by the entire west along with mercenaries getting involved and they didnt do to shabby with I think 200k involved in the operation not striking infrastructured or power grids like NATO did to Serbia until they started a week ago and Ukraine is a pretty big country. Not enough people give them credit sadly even when they are our adversaries.
