I wonder if those people in the comments have any real common sense given that China has pipelines with Russia for one and other nations like Iran, Russia and North Korea would take this as an opportunity to make life extremely miserable for the USA by cutting off Oil and gas to the USA to the point where inflation will be completely out of control. The USA cannot afford a blockade of the USA dollar goes completely bust and this is in the process coming true very soon given that many nations are getting quite sick of the USA dictating terms to the world that is only favorable to them, that is if the entire situation of the Middle East not picking up Bidens calls is any indication.

America can claim what they want but they still have to follow international law. I have no idea how they are going to justify sending an a military jet into a soverign country's airspace without explicit authorisation. The Taiwanese regime has zero recognition at the UN.

But hypocritical is exactly what they (IOC, FIFA, etc) have always been. The idea that those that sanctioned Russia will now sanction the US is plain stupid. So is the notion that the US "has to follow international law". It never has.

The entire point of Pelosi going to Taiwan is that she's doing it in her official capacity and openly.

All this other stuff about "loopholes" of her going there secretly or as a civilian... that's 100% a loss for Taiwan independence and the US. Its not as if Pelosi's not allowed to go to China, just not officially.

Because doing so officially and openly implies a recognition of Taiwan's independence, but as a civilian and secretly does not.

So I guess we won’t get a beautiful sight of her pulling a no show or she tries to ninja her way in like a coward that has proven herself to be a typical yank, too scared to face an equal, especially an equal that have a whole list of grievances that they would like to have answered for with interest. Heck I am not sure if they are equal anymore given how fast inflation shot into the roof because they used one sanctions too many and felt the need to rob that nation like a friggen Pompeo who is another fat ass that I would like to see popped like a balloon although he is not exactly fat anymore given that he was given the CCP diet treatment
