Russian Anthem sounding through the streets of Serbia’s capital Belgrade as thousands of people gather to show support for #Russia — right now

Serbia may be facing risk to be stigmatized or even more in Europe sooner or later... I don't know any other country in Europe is showing up such explicit support for Russia in the current war -- some consequence from the established force -- not sure at what price... but recalling the Belgrade 78-day bombing in 1999, plus the unsettled issue of Kosovo, who can blame them for showing up such courage and support?
RFI in France is reporting that far right organisations are staging this demonstration. Any credibility on that?

Plaese read the rules for this thread again. We can all have different opinions but spreading lies from propaganda videos from either side as FACTS will led to consequences.

As such, Yes in return", "Sir with all due respect War is hell BUT" ... and in no way I excuse any other war, but not only Western countries rate this war not a war provoked by NATO and the West, but an plain and simple break of an UN charta by which international borders are untouchable. This cannot be justified by other wars, the US or the West started, but plain by policy and power, but it still makes it not correct. Therefore IMO the biggest fear was/is democracy and the free will of a neighbouring nation and not the NATO, but again, that MY opinion.

Anyway, I'm most surprised that China, which always stands to the rule that national borders and the national sovereignty are untouchable! Since suddenly it seem,s to be legit!
The Western countries that use the pretext of human rights to invade and occupy countless of countries. Now the same countries talk about the rule that national borders and the national sovereignty are untouchable. You see you are bias too.

This war can't be justified. But this war is no more immoral than some other wars that started by the Western countries.

From Elijah J. Magnier @ejmalrai -- Veteran War Journalist: +35 years in Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and more, @AlraiMediaGroup, Location and focus: Europe and MENA

This is the situation on the ground in #Ukraine. Donbass separatists advanced 55 km. #Russia is cutting Ukraine in two. In the south, #Mariupol, the last fortress on the #Azov seashore, is completely surrounded. Russian troops heading towards #Odessa.

By now, the #Ukraine government should understand that all attempts to bring the West into a larger war have failed. President Zelenskyy should be realistic, stop all his lies about "nuclear disaster" & others, stop the destruction of his army & accept the neutrality of the country.

Read Carefully:
1. #NATO, #US, said it has no intention to impose a no-fly-zone & doesn't want to confront #Russia.
2. Secretary Blinken said yesterday: "We shall defend every inch of NATO". #Ukraine is not NATO. Blinken did not speak about "defending Ukraine" coz game is over.

When #Russia maintains for many days a dozens of km long convoy of tanks & armoured vehicles 20-25 km from the Capital #Kyiv means:
1. Russia has air dominance (not superiority)
2. Safety parameters for the convoy of at least 5-6 km to prevent any anti-tank massacre is confirmed.

#Russia has been using a different relatively "soft approach" from what we know in previous wars, mainly the recent #Syria. Also, Russian & Ukrainian delegations are talking. That prevents the attack against #Kyiv / Kiev that Russia will do if negotiations fail & when forces take the E92.

So, stop fueling this war that the world leaders are aware of the outcome now and won't last for long.
Stop contributing to killing more Ukrainians coz there is no balance of power.
War on the ground is not like on Twitter. Be realistic & promote the end of this war in #Ukraine.

Great news:
#Russia announced (Temporarily) Cease-fire announced at 10:00 am in #Ukraine.

This means diplomacy works.

Ceasefire starts NOW in #Ukraine, and safe corridors were defined for #Mariupol on the #Azov seashore, allowing civilians to leave the city. The Ukrainian army in Mariupol was asked to return to their barracks if they choose to do so.

#Russia said #Ukraine refuses proposals to open and use humanitarian corridors in #Kharkiv & #Sumy.

This means back to fighting until nego move sooner than later (because to end a war, an agreement will be signed. It depends when politicians are convinced of enough killings).

Danzig HD Mapper publishes a map showing the progress of #Russia in #Ukraine from the 24th of February until today.

I think the colonel has some really good points but misses the main one. What if neutrality independent of Russia hasn't been on the table for Ukraine only being under Russian control like Belarus?
Agree, it's probably true that Russia probably preferred a puppet Ukraine but I still highly doubt he launched an invasion just to make a puppet outta someone where even nuetrality isn't acceptable (especially considering risks of sanctions and overall economic collapse- resulting from the invasion)

He isn't invading Finland is he? Georgia (it's not exactly a "puppet"), Azerbaijan

Quite a lot of losses from Western weaponry

"Russian Air Force losses over #Ukraine in the past 26 hours:

- 1x Su-30SM multirole aircraft
- 1 Su-34 strike aircraft
- 3 Su-25 close air support aircraft (pictured)
- 2 Mi-24/35 attack helicopters
- 1 Mi-8 transport helicopter
- 1 Orlan-10 UAV"

Is that confirmed? because everything seems like the same recycle strange photos over and over again.
