It's not like facelifting a Toyota or releasing a new iPhone every year. It's MUCH harder and more expensive.

The JF-17 is done. The Block III is it. It's all about weapon and subsystem integration at this point.

A new wing? Why?

Any change would certainly need a lot of resources and a more powerful engine. It would be a can of worms.

If you wish to speculate about a hypothetical Block IV, then that is something else.

The T-50 is de facto heavily influenced by Lockheed Martin's involvement based on a smaller F-16 with lateral intakes and the JF-17 we all know has a very different genesis!
