Duty (combat) radius: 500nm
Operational altitude: 35000ft
Cruise speed: 0.6 mach
Endurance: 5 hours
MTOW: 6000kg
Payload: 1500kg
Low observable
High maneuverability
Take-off and landing capability from short-runway aircraft carriers
Line of sight and beyond line of sight communication
High situational awareness with AESA radar
Automatic take-off and landing
Apart from carrier ops, now numbers look reasonable.
Won't be cheap, though.

Anadolu Shipyard Launches New LCT For Qatari Navy

On September 25, a ceremony in Istanbul marked the official launch of the Landing Craft Tank (LCT) FUWAIRIT (QL-80) for the Qatari Emiri Navy by Turkey's Anadolu (ADIK) Shipyard. The FUWAIRIT is the first LCT built by a private Turkish shipyard that has been exported.

@sequ - same with automatic carrier landing out of thin air - I'll believe it when I'll see it.
At this point, this is a full fighter aircraft sans cockpit and life support. All expensive parts are already in place.
Any reasonable AESA radar alone costs more than that. So does the engine.

In the mean time I rather believe a brilliant genius with a proven track record than a rando on the internet. Thanks.

Kindly wish Turkey all the best.
Fooling basic economic laws hasn't proven its forte until now, but maybe this will change.

p.s. also, the point of comparison matters indeed. Maybe it's F-35 per modern contracts. Then it's pretty doable if most of the plane will be made at home.

Is that compared with light manned fighter aircraft like Gripen or medium aircraft like the F-16 series?
It can be anything from a JF-17 to a Rafale. If I had to make a guess, I would base it on the proposed cost of the Hurjet which is projected to cost 1/4th of the TF so that's ~25 million a piece. The MIUS comes in at half the weight of the Hurjet and with less than half the thrust in its subsonic version. A subsonic MIUS would prolly cost somewhere around $15 million. A supersonic MIUS could be anywhere between $15-$20 million.
