Sorry but i gotta disagree. First thing to understand is woman's rights n universal terms and rights in national terms. Western "rights" are more or less rights of looting equally while woman's rights there means rights of abortion & doing all sorts of nastiest thing possible under state protection.
As an woman, i feel for afghan woman, but if i or you want to give them all the rights they want or i/you believe the rights they should have, then either me or you should invite them in our countries and fund them. You can't simply say "heyy give them rights to live day to day life, not wrapped up like mummies", but as far as i know, those laws are mostly imposed by families way before state or in this case Taliban does. So what are you going to do? Try to pretend you know their betterment than their own parents & families?
This "basic right" games is what US & west has been playing all along. We have no authority to implement any rights in Afghanistan sitting on our couch, unless you want to take in, US had 20 years. You try to do that, it would be like USA accusing China of violating human rights due to one child policy.
Rights is never given, it is earned. You have only rights over what you have earned & built. Outside that, rights are determined by parents, families, states. When we try to self appoint ourselves as self advisory board committee chairman of human rights, it is bound to become problem. If we house & finance those rights, then it's ok.
I appreciate much your input, because I can sense something is not right with all the Women's Rights the MSM is pushing around the globe... I can sense it but I am not able to articulate or pinpoint where is the fallacy of such push. So thanks to your explanation, now I get the core idea, at least the valuable clue, thus I feel enlightened in this subject... and save a copy for my further study :) hahaha just learn that you're a woman, which is rare in the most discussion forums like this.

Is this even real… :(

Real
seems almost like an episode of Twilight Zone with william shatner.

But that guy is obviously dead, given the way his legs are flapping around like that. Probably got sucked into the engine.
His upper body was jammed by the landing gear door. USAF did say that the aircraft had to land soon after take-off in a 3rd country due to problem with landing gear.

And finally to Supa Powa.

Supapowans should be grateful that Iran is on bad terms with the U.S. Otherwise they’d be called before India.

Even if the Green Party wins a major victory nothing fundamental will change. Chances of them pulling a Lithuania is around zero since unlike Lithuania, Germany has substantial business interests in China. Worst case scenario would be banning of Huawei plus tariffs against Chinese products (heavy machinery) that compete with similar Germany products.
If "heavy machinery" means Sany, XCMG, etc, it's unlikely, as a couple of European firms were bought by Chinese ones in this industry. If you mean industrial machinery in general, it's also unlikely, since this is one of Germany's main export areas to China.

Yes. The German company Linde hydraulics was bought long ago by Weichai power.

Used like condoms and discarded. The fate of those who collaborate with australia.

Probably doesn’t want the witnesses of war crimes to make it out of kabul in case they start talking.

Just what did you expect from a medium power nation that when recently been exposed about the crime their soldiers committed in Afghanistan. And the government's outrage wasn't directed at their soldiers, instead they are upset at China's artist depiction of that criminal act. So much for freedom of ecpression.

Australians in Afghanistan say the Taliban will kill them, urge government to help

Afghan Australians stuck in Kabul are pleading with the federal government to get them on evacuation flights to safety, saying they fear being killed by the Taliban if they are left behind.

Taliban insurgents have seized the presidential palace in Kabul after taking control of nearly all of Afghanistan in just over a week.

Muftahudin Babackerkhil, who is in Kabul, said he had made several frantic calls to the Australian government but had received no response.

"I sent all my details to them, my family details and I said I need urgent assistance. I need help," he told the ABC from Hamid Karzai International Airport.

"I tried to call [the government] and they said they don't know when the Australian aircraft will be landing. There is nothing happening right now."

Cabinet's National Security Committee has approved a military evacuation plan to rescue Australians in Afghanistan, as well as Afghans who once served with the ADF.

The ABC has been told the mission involves an RAAF C-17 aircraft and other Defence assets from across Australia.

But it is not clear when the planes will be allowed or able to land in Kabul, given the deteriorating situation on the ground.

The ABC understands the government intends to bring home Australians, journalists and some former Kabul embassy staff.

Mr Babackerkhil said he feared the Taliban would kill him and his family purely because he was an Australian citizen.

"If they know I am an Australian citizen then that's it. If they know you are an Australian – that is enough," he said.

He is also desperate to get his wife, child and extended family to Australia. None are Australian citizens but Mr Babackerkhil said he would not abandon them in Kabul.

"When I die, I will die with my family. Who would leave their family?" he said.

"We need the Australian government to assist. We need help."
Another Afghan Australian – who did not want to be identified because he feared reprisals – said he was desperate to leave Kabul with his wife and young child.

"I hope the [Australian] government help us. If the Taliban find out we are Australian citizen(s) they will not give us a second chance," he said.

He also said he had repeatedly tried to contact the Australian government to request help but had not received a response.

Fears Taliban will cut off access 'to the rest of the world'

A third Afghan Australian who also requested anonymity said he escaped Kabul only a few days ago after buying a "very expensive ticket" on a commercial flight.

He said his uncle, who is also an Australian citizen, had been trying to get out of the country but his flight due on Tuesday had been cancelled.

"He is stuck. He can't go anywhere. There is a fear they will cut off phones, internet and eventually access to the rest of the world," the man said.

"And if the Taliban is anything like they were 20 years ago then that is what they will do.

"They won't want anyone to see what they will do to the country."
He said he was also desperately worried about extended family members who were Afghan nationals and remained stuck in the country with no prospects of escape.

Fate of 150 soldiers and cadets of the Afghan National Army. undergoing training in India, hangs in the balance amid collapse of the Afghanistan Army and takeover by the Taliban. Sources told News18 that many of the nationals are being trained at the NDA, IMA and OTA.

While the insurgents have given ‘general amnesty’ to all government officials and asked them to join work, the defence forces are vulnerable to revenge attacks. A source said that the Indian government will have to take a call on whether to send them back after training or wait till the situation in Afghanistan becomes stable. Another source said that government is mulling to give them extended visa to stay.
