Chinese shipbuilding industry

It is not even about taking it like a man, it's nothing personal. Here, we correct one another all them time, and I was doing it with hard facts, not subjective opinions.

For me, I feel enriched by mostly fact-based people like Tam, Taxiya, Gelgoog and of course, opinionated members like Ougoah, Xsizor, Assassinmace, plawolf, etc, etc.

Then accept my feedback/correction which is hold true without arguing with semantic.

Nobody is downplaying S.Korea here. It is damn impressive that they have cornered the shipbuilding industry by themselves for so long.

As for future market share, we will see

It is continuation from here:

Doesnt matter Korea take over China only in Q1 2021. It still prove that Korea is still strong in shipbuilding both sales and technology. It can surpass China in spite of a short time after so long behind China is already an achievement.

I never bet that Korea will be surpassing China whole 2021 and retain this position for long.

Also my most important point that Korea is still ahead in commercial shipbuilding technology at the moment is correct.
I was not trying to reason with you about technology.

Then accept my feedback/correction which is hold true without arguing with semantic.
It is your attitude.
When somebody corrects me with the right information, I simply give a like/upvote to his post. And move on.

I didn't give wrong information, as I told you Korea is still strong in commercial shipbuilding technology and sales and it is correct, as proven by Korea's surpassing China in Q1 2021 (not the whole 2021), somebody else already confirm this above.

It is just your effort to drag me into semantic debate, because you can't accept that you have missunderstood my point :) :D

Where did I say you gave wrong information. But I gave up up-to-date information.

You are the one dragging me into a semantic debate. I never corrected you on Korea's technology, but you kept countering with how advanced they are, as if I did not know. Not quite honest, you.

You are the one dragging me into a semantic debate.

But you didn't just gave update, but said I am making "premature statement" which is actually your missunderstanding on my statement, and you keep insisting it, although I've made clarification so many times. :)

You said (in post #898):
The problem is that your statement holds true for only up to March. From April, China overtook them. Another problem is saying they regain position #1, as it is premature.

Who start it? isn't it semantic debate? :)

Where did I keep countering you with it? or why you think so?

I just quote my whole statement, it wont be missunderstood again, and it is repeated because you are repeating saying I make premature statement.

How is posting up-to-date information for the benefit of everyone semantic? If you find it semantic, you are too fluffy, but other people are entitled to know the latest situation.

Then please stop repeating saying I make "premature statement" .. if your intention is only to give a valuable update ;)

You still have no clue why? You were saying they regain #1. Well, what happened the next month?

My friend, the year is not out yet. If at the end of Dec, Korea wins more orders only then you can say they regain. Otherwise, it could be premature.

From yesterday you keep insisting on correcting me regarding the Korean surpassing China on sales, on and on.

And now you are saying that your intention is just to give a valuable update? and questioning my honesty? cmon. Isn't debate on interpretation of my statement (Korea regain #1 position in 2021 or Q1 2021) is not a semantic debate? :D
