No. After being stifled and quashed.

Thank you guys. I was doing time but not for the crime. Unlike those thugs in Hong Kong. I dont want to go into it here in too much detail. (Or i will be doing tine again.

Basically @Dolcevita is right. I was replying to a ..... em. A non Chinese guy that basically insulted all Hakka people by suggesting we might be considered non-Han. (Talk about white privilege) and took exception to me stating 'white man's burden'. Yet my rebuttal got deleted, where as he's remained.

Then next thing I know I was in jail for completely different offence from a warning that was a year old.

I feel I had my voice stifled. I was wondering whether to come back. But you guys are too friendly and intellectual to ignore.

So I'm having to go careful and selective in my post. Becaurse i could be jailed permanently. So I'll stop here before I get into more trouble. But just in case I might get banned permanently. I'll say it's great knowing you guys.

Wait, arent warnings deleted/ignored after some time?

For example I got a warning when I had just created my account for a stupid thing. Does that mean that the warning will follow me around?

Well apparently not. Yeah my warning was in the early days before I know how to reply multiple times. I have already explained it to @Bltizo at the time, and say to him if he look at my post, I tend to post medium to long length in-depth post.

I also like to reply individually as I've been brought up to believe that's the polite way of response. And I thought that was all sorted. Alas no, apparently! Look back and see the time line between my jail time and the warning. It's nearly a year. So becareful my friend.

I almost get in trouble in threads with a certain person always ligthing flames. Best to just hit the ignore button on people that you think are out 'trolling'

I used to have my difference with a former respective mod back in late 00. When we couldn't resolve our difference, I decided to quit. I never got banned or warned but I know the feeling of being stifled. However, we still need to respect Mod's judgement even if we don't agree with them sometime. It is a thankless job for being a mod especially for those that are trying hard to be impartial.

Gotta say the Deputy Commissioner did a fantastic job with this interview. Calm, composed, articulate and got the point across even when presented with loaded questions.

The vase analogy was very apt, I thought. It's an inalienable part of the family's history. And just like porcelain, HK can be beautiful and delicate. I'd like to think the city is just as precious in the eyes of its people as well as Chinese people as a whole, and something to be treasured.

Maybe thats all there was, after all the criteria were that the applicants had to have some form of qualification which implies some level of intelligence.

Hang in there friend. The ban came from nowhere and had questionable rationale. But shit does happen sometimes and it is big of you to just let it go.
