Interesting. Seem Berlin was the “ringleader” that convinced others to get behind the EU’s Xinjiang sanctions.

The removing of US forces from the Gulf is a serious development. No need for fanboying over this.

A shift of forces to the Indo-Pacific will nevertheless happen and this will provide an immediate military boost to the US presence there

When we look around the world, seems like there is some sort of move against Moscow, and there is a coup in Asia, besides the fight in the Himalayas in the summer.

The Americans will do, what the Americans will do. Do not see how that relates to what is going on at the moment along China's borders or Russia's borders. The world does not revolve around the Americans.

This is kind of important. The Americans are fighting to preserve their status. They trying to maintain confidence that they will be there for their allies.

If the Russians wipe out those Ukrainians and take more territory, then what happens to US credibility?

What is going on in Donbass with the build up is the number #1 big risk in the world right now.

If they move a carrier fleet around, not sure how that matters.

This is a land war in Russia.

This should be the number one focus right now. Give Putin credit. Everything in Washington is about China China China. So he makes his move.

If Putin wins here, it will be as equally damaging to US credibility as any setbacks to China.

Agreed. We still dont know what will happen to the carrier. I guess it will eventually end to in the Indo-Pacific against China.

However for now the most risk is the Ukraine Russia situation.

I think when the Russia FM came to China he got the green light to escalate if Ukraine makes a move.

Those pictures I saw on the internet, I was stunned.

The amount of armor the Russians are moving by rail, that is a full mobilization. When it comes to this stuff, the Russians do not fool around.

Suppose the Russians really do attack, and wipe the Ukrainians taking more territory? Then declare a ceasefire.

What will happen next?

Will Europe run towards the Americans like a frighten cat. Or will Europe turn to Russia, and try to sort out the Ukraine Nazi problems.

We don't know.

That is how fluid the situation seems.

The logical choice for Putin is to attack, and grab that territory. They already against you, how much worst can it get?

If or when that happens, Europe has a choice. Come to understandings with Russia on the security issues, and with China on the economic issues. Or stay on the back foot.

Meh this is actually very simple.

The US is behind the scenes encouraging Ukraine to make a military move to force Russia to respond. So when Russia responds and starts attacking Ukraine then the US will start a fuss and force Germany to "protect" Ukraine.

So in this way Germany will be forced to stop the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia. Thus US would have managed to stop Germany from being close to Russia and would result in Russia being isolated and more sanctions levied against it.

IMO the US is looking for a regime change in Russia.

When you take a step back the West's sanctions were superficial and they knew it. Targeting individuals... what does that do? Targeting companies... that's something else hence why the West complained about H&M and possibly Nike being targeted. But again if the West didn't want this, then they shouldn't have thrown the first punch. So big deal if Germany led sanctions. It was the West that had to do something or look weak to the world after they charged genocide. Where are the self-anointed champions of humanity sending their armies to stop genocide? They're no where. They have to show something and they picked the least show of force targeting individuals. Like these unknown to the world people can only live if they can travel and do business with the West...? Like China can't draw up fake documents making them someone else? The irony because Chinese people don't need to go to the West to make something of themselves hence why the reason for all of this isn't because of genocide. It's an excuse to stop China from being independent and more powerful than they are.

This is the best position for China now. The EU is in shambles and the US is printing dollars like a drunk uncle.

So with China sanctioning EU so hard (the EU then started whining lol, they seemed so shocked) shows that China doesn't care for the CAI as it was from the start a gift to the EU.

Angela Merkel spent all her political capital to push this deal because she is the only smart one from all these EU moronic leaders. So if they ultimately decide to throw it away, the US would laugh all the way to the bank as they already have their Phase 1 deal
