Would not comment untill I understand the situation and listent to both sides of the story. Interestingly it happened in Chinatown and so far incident happened to just this two persons and no one else.

Not really, it is just nobody cares except Asians. There are more victims such as these two elderly Chinese women, one is 68 and another is 71. Even more victims that didn't report to the police that I know of. People just refuse to accept racial attacks toward Asians are very common.
When I still used MTA years ago before pandemic, I have encountered multiple times that some white old women verbally insulted me for no reasons and using racial slurs. During the summer, my parents were spit upon when going out for a walk. You really think by calling coronavirus as China virus wouldn't have serious repercussion for Asians.

Facebook, Google refuse to follow local rules and Australian government is not happy. A feeling of deja vu here. Google relented, facebook did't.
Now seeking allies to confront Facebook claiming bullying.
Not disclaiming increasing racial assaults against Asian since the pendemic, also happen here in Australia espacially against Chinese. But each incident must be carefully studied and not automatically classified as racist.
@KYli, here is mostly verbal abuse , the most common term is " Intsik" translated as "Chinks" in English but never physically harm cause they know we practiced martial arts and will fight back if provoke
. But they prey on kids (collecting our lunch money) and usually as a mob, the good thing is with that experience we learn how to live a street life and it toughen us mentally and physically.
It's unbelievable that he is still lying on TV about his intentions. And Shaun at Fox news is now an apologist for him. He should take this old age advise.

I think quite the opposite, if the west is going to be unsportsmanlike about this whole thing then China should try to host more just to rub it in and we get to watch the absolute meltdown of the western media... I advocate Wuhan be the next Chinese city to be put up as a candidate to host the olympics!
Most Chinese don't care about Olympics anymore so I would rather China hosts World Cup which is financially more rewarding. I think the prestige of Olympics is not there anymore as you can see so many countries have dropped out of competing for hosting the event due to the ballooning costs.
