The second half of the article shows much misunderstandings or misinformation on China.
Increasing unfavorable public opinions of China and lack of confident in President Xi in the 14 Western and East Asia most advanced countries surveyed proved that Xi and China are doing somethings seriously RIGHT to the detriment of the West.
And using Jack Ma experience as an example of no tolerance of constructive criticism by China is too simplistic and based on assumptions. But what Jack Ma had done is following the Australian Government methods of criticising China by megaphone arrogantly without any due respect and diplomacy.
Should learn from New Zealand on how to deal with China bureaucrats.
Taken into account for the seriousness of their crimes, I don't think ordinary folks in the West really care. Some might wish white collar criminals of a serious note suffered the same punishment instead of serving their time in a soft prison.

whoops I thought I was replying to KYLI

Xinjiang will be in jeopardy.

China has to prepare to combat everyone pretty much. Western propaganda too powerful.

Not necessarily. Navalny is still very much a russian ultranationalist, he supported the war in Georgia and would not return Crimea under any circumstances. From that perspective, he isn't that much palatable for the west, maybe a 2-3 year honeymoon but then it would be like how the west treats burma now too.

Russia never had any claims to Xinjiang ever during the empire days. China could likely work with him, although depending on how strong he takes his anti-immigration sentiments it could pit him more against the arab world (there isnt enough immigration into russia from china, and its not migrant workers anyways). Right now, there is a certain level of cooperation between the slavic-orthodox, muslim, and sinic world's which should be maintained as long as possible while the judeo-christian world tries to undermine it feverishly.

Perhaps Xinjiang is already in jeopardy. We all know US has contingencies against every nation. China must as well.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying response is much more robust nowadays. Here she berated those shameless politicians in US/ Canada / Australia and the slaughters of Red Indians/Aboriginals people in those countries (3:20 ). You can read the English subtitle by activating the setting.

I meant Russia and India taking advantage of China-US conflict
That is world war 3 nuclear war scenario, no way will russia attack Xinjiang militarily (lets not even mention india lol)
without massive Chinese provocation

There is no way in hell will russia under navalny or not take orders from washington to attack China, russians are brave but not suicidal

Any conflict with the us will be in scs or taiwan straits away from any land mass
No country in China neighbourhood has the capability to face PLA inside China territory
