Remember the Kansas experiment, the massive tax cut at the state level didn't spur economy growth. Instead the tax cut creates a huge budget deficit and eventually forces budget cuts that result in 4 days per week schools and crumbling infrastructure and ballooning debt.
Beside, even though Texas doesn't have income tax, Texas has one of the highest property tax in the nation. Local and municipal governments need funding for schools, libraries, road maintenance, and emergency services. They sure did, if he loses his job, this man is as screwed as Pompeo. Notice how little people hear of Pompeo when he is bared from all those big time jobs he would have gotten if he didn’t mess around with China like he did. The scary part is, is that while the USA is in deep shit right now, China is busy taking their time to mess them up.
My father mentioned that as of now, the USA lacks the supplies of rare earths required to continue the full development of there f-35 in the same numbers as they projected. While the media is trying to brush of this fact, consider that China is the only nation that can produce and process rare earths in the kind of bulk that can enable the development of the f-35 and considering that China has played this move now when the USA is in deep shit right now and if they descend into further chaos, any further development of the f-35 could be hobbled for a good while, thus enabling China to develop there defence and force the USA to develop the necessary industries to process the rare earths in bulk (but without time, money and real expertise, which only China has in all three), which is going to take decades or more given how bad there infrastructure is right now along with where’s things are heading, meaning that well both China and Russia will have ample time to gear up there defences, gather allies (lots of nations hate the USA right now) and bring the hegemony to its end. This of course is hypothetical but really for China to matter that much when the USA says that there development of there f-35 will be hampered due to Chinese sanctions, well something is going to break since the current blizzard in Texas shows that the USA isn’t prepared for any more big disaster right now and we haven’t even finished February yet
I think China should use Western gullibility on China issues to their advantage.

Now its turn of US media after UK media did its job. What they're attempting to do as I've said before is to paint China as a modern day Nazi Empire. The immediate consequence would be the 5 eyes nations pulling out of 2022 Olympics and we will then see EU nations follow suit. This would certainly end the Olympics before it even started. All to embarrass China internationally and extract economic, strategic concessions

I'm also expecting a Bipartisan bill in US Congress which would sanction all economic activity in Xinjiang and even the top CCP leadership. The bill would easily pass as Anti China sentiments are high and its the medias job to ensure that it remains relevant in public.
