The 5 eyes nations are a collection of interst groups. 5 eyes itself is an intelligence network. The political and economic class of NZ might have other plans but the US intelligence agencies and military centric network seeps into other 5 eyes nations. These organizations works in the shadows to influence the front facing interest groups
I dont think BBC cares. This is only a broadcasting ban. What about their reporters? Will they still be able to report from there?

Yes you are right, its just a broadcast ban. Pity its not a full ban on the BBC. The BBC should be reduced to just a small branch office in China. Their main reporters and staffs kicked out of China.
Sudworth and McDonnell deserves more than just a visa ban. They need to be sanctioned by China. Like what happened to Steve Bannon. Not only should they get a Visa-ban. Their associates should also be banned. Any business and banks associated with them needs to be sanctioned. Only that kind of punishment could fit the gravity of their crimes.

Lol, a fallen empire trying to lecture/school China after all the things the UK has done to China, I know China could easily wipe the UK off the map if a certain super power isn't around. but I think the current situation in the UK (covid + economic collapsing at break neck speed and possibility of the united part of the UK disappearing sooner or later) along with Chinese sanctions (it will happen if the UK doesn't get wise fast) is going to mess up the nation worse then anything else. At least until the UK grows a brain and stops trying to push its Anglo Saxon agenda around the world because I am pretty sure that many nations in the EU don't like the UK very much.
