Never heard Soder's position on China, any info? His carnival costimes are hilarious though.
Only Röttgen I am sure that anti-China, the guy's too much into transatlantic partnership, Biden digs that thing.
Mertz will claim "transatlantic" as well, but if his equity-based pension come online, no way he would dare poking Chinese-German commerce, their exchange will blow into smithereens, while their economy is the best in the EU, ain't no way they can survive trade war with China.
The annoying parties surprisingly might be SPD or Greens. Greens somehow are hawkish transatlantic and SPD might move to neocon like Labour in the UK.
Interesting time ahead
I don't think the greens would be that hawkish transatlantic. For all criticisms of China, I think the environmental commitments china has made are actually one of the things holding China's in good regards within Europe. The US isn't gonna go into a full green agenda even though Biden re-entered the paris agreement.
If the world could "collectively" agree that climate change is the biggest issue facing humanity, its actually more likely that the three leading regions (China, US, and EU) could work closer together.
