The all tecnologic in that demostrador is made in China, I suppuse.

Not entirely ... the type itself was co-developed in consultation by Yakovlev, the engines are Ukrainian AI-222K-25F engines ...

) reported of an updated JL8/K8 known as K-8G; but has there ever been any upgrade kit (engine/avionics/weapons) for the older customers to keep their aircraft up-to-date ???

Do we have any news regarding the alleged carrier-capable JL-10 variant?

I think some time ago @huitong mentioned something but I'm no longer sure about it.

Probably because of low manufacturing rate.
I think if the manufacturing rate increased then they would invest into automating the assembly line further.
China needs to make the L-15 the only standalone jet trainer aircraft and crank up the production.
The aircraft has huge export potential and can be used as a light attack craft if so required.

Great video of manufacturing. I'm just surprised they still have some very low tech methods like panel beating.
also if you don't notice, that factory also produces parts for CJ-6 and K-8 trainer...

I will be super surprised if building CJ-6s are all high tech, CAD, laser cuts
