A couple of comments :

NUCLEAR FORCES - The author chose not to mention both India and China have declared adherence to No First Strike nuclear doctrine. Also he did not mentioned that most Chinese ICBMs & IRBMs are held in reserve for other potential adversaries to the East, not the South or North.

CONVENTIONAL FORCES - The only conclusion I can draw form the article is that Indian has a hostile and offensive intent towards China, while China has only defensive and no offensive intent towards India.

Berserk, thanks for sharing your frame of mind.
India to have massive reserve's of IRBM's what's the point ?....as the article suggest without nuclear warheads those missile are dud and won't cause much damage.. even if you fire thousands of them. I won't even go into more than a dozen more missile sites on our side which he missed.
No first use is a myth....no one in India believe in China no first use and vice versa.. as for hostile intention.... we didn't supply nuclear weapons and missiles to a Jihadi nation who is responsible for more than 100k Indian death in last 3 decade alone.

I must admit, I question both this report's assumption that the PLA would need thousands of missiles to severely damage only three of the IAF's bases as well as I question the Indian capabilities to restore several front-line bases under war-time conditions so quickly. We all know, how effective strikes against airfields have been in other wars and how soon they were rebuilt to sustain regular air operations.

IMO a plain under- and overestimation but hopefully we'll never find out.

probably just like Chinese pay Russians to get know how but mostly get inferior products in return like those noisy Chinese submarine.
On par I mean carrying K 5... K 6 SLBM comparable to M 51, trident and Bulava class of SLBM. India has already tested K-5 motors back in 2017..will be part of upcoming S 4 class SSBNs.

You see India don't like to brag about it's capabilities like Chinese fanboys do about there junk HQ 9 to 20 , J-20 etc etc... and end up importing russians S 400, SU -35 etc in end.
India just don't want to build noisy submarine like Chinese and are waiting for something like Borei class or there western counterparts at minimum in term of capabilities.

You do realise the above quote of your's and all the made up nonsense, flame baiting, trolling, and chest thumping in this post of your's actually "started it" in your own words. So now, the "chinese fanboys" didn't start it. You did.

You responded to PiSigma's actual question which is both accurate and fair.

The upcoming Indian SSBN will NOT be in service within 10 years. So he's accurate. The K-5 and K-6 SLBMs are BOTH still under development. You're talking about under development projects as if they are now already in service and you compare them to American and Russian SLBMs which have been in service for decades. Even the JL-1 which is retired is superior to K-5 and K-6 simply because it exists and has been in service for decades. So PiSigma politely calling you out here is more than justified.

Why not say AMCA is on par with F-22 then? India is now on par with West and Russia since AMCA is upcoming!

But whatever.

On the issue of China and Pakistan. Well Chinese assistance with Pakistani nuclear program is between these two nations. It was up to the considerations of the 1970s. China and India had some skirmishes and the Communists then was convinced India will become the Great Britain of Asia and throw its weight around since it unilaterally decided to use British borders at its own convenience. That was then. India and Pakistan both have nukes now and neither side is stupid enough to use them. If you hold contention with this, why not become a policymaker in India and do a nuclear program with Vietnam or Japan? It's not up to India who Pakistan decides to have diplomatic relations and allegiances with. Why not be equally frustrated at US assistance with Pakistan?

On the issue of jihadists, that's between India and Pakistan and India's internal issues. Have you noticed not a single Chinese politician or member here talks and judges India's own internal issues and India's relationship with Pakistan? Why not sort your own things out and stop mucking around with other people's business. You are not a politician and India is not USA. The quicker these three countries can sort their crap out, the quicker our relations can improve. Being Mean Girls bitchy about everything and trolling people and doing crap online will only worsen it. But you will suffer as much if not more for it.

Pakistan used to bomb Indian airbases few km away from IB during 1965 war and we used to repair them on same day by night what's the point?
It all depends on efficiency, labour availability and type of material being used.
Here's Indian precision strike on Pakistani air bases during 71 war.

Now it was PAF incompetency they couldn't repair it in time....these stripes can be repaired in less than a day.

People see US and coalition strikes on airstrips in middle east and other places and propaganda ensure that those bases are now out of commission and can't be repaired back which is false...most of them can be repair in less than 6 hours.
