That "next generation" anti radiation missile looks like a scaled up version of the Astra. Nice way to save some development time. When's it going to service? Next generation is 5 years or 10 years? I bet all of PLAAF's AWACs must now stay in their airbases. Don't want to get airborne with that NGRAM beast around right.

I assure you there is no fear in Indian military establishment of Chinese military

But why then is the Indian media full of fearsome reports - often enough made by my very special friend @rajfortyseven on Twitter - describing even regular Y-20s at their homebase as "close to the Indian border in an offensive intention" and other such nonsense?

.....they are quite confident of smashing PLA in Tibet....

Otherwise as for "smashing PLA in Tibet" I won't bet or if someone would force me to bet, my bet would got for the PLA,
Anyway, I hope we both will never ever in our life will get an answer for this question.

there is a reason your country has propped up Pakistan for so long.
So called fear is not of Chinese but Pakistani Chinese pincer from West and east....
...but in last 2 decade we have manage to overcome even that obstacle. ;)

... and finally; why on earth MY country?? I'm a German!

I won't go into what media say.....Chinese active collusion with Pakistan on nuclear weapons and missile program with Pakistan using it as a shield for unconventional warfare has made Pakistan an existential threat....Chinese tried a dangerous game but failed in long run and see what's the consequences are....I don't think India.. China relations are that bad & probably will improve.

A couple of comments :

NUCLEAR FORCES - The author chose not to mention both India and China have declared adherence to No First Strike nuclear doctrine. Also he did not mentioned that most Chinese ICBMs & IRBMs are held in reserve for other potential adversaries to the East, not the South or North.

CONVENTIONAL FORCES - The only conclusion I can draw form the article is that Indian has a hostile and offensive intent towards China, while China has only defensive and no offensive intent towards India.

Berserk, thanks for sharing your frame of mind.
