An Asian man is clinging to life after he was stabbed more than a dozen times in a bloody Brooklyn attack, police said.

Li Qianyang, 48, was walking on 8th Avenue around 7:11 p.m. Saturday when an unknown assailant stalked up behind him and stabbed him 13 times in the back, head, arms, and chest before fleeing, police said.

Not sure race tho.

back to Italy, I took a closer look now and it appears as if there were two "trends" (could be just reporting, diagnosing or other issue):
a slower (the blue curve below) and a faster (the green curve below); an extrapolation (the red dashed curve below) from the last four points (#12, 13, 14 and 15) gives almost ten thousand (9591) for tomorrow!

so let's wait and see

Coronavirus death toll in Italy rises from 233 to 366

The number of deaths from coronavirus in Italy has risen from 233 on Saturday to 366, officials have said. The 57% increase is the steepest daily rise in fatalities since the outbreak came to light. The total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 7,375 - up from 5,883 on Saturday.

Italy put some good measures in place so it should start to slow down in a while but currently the basic trendline points to over 20,000+ by this time next week

For Italy, the graph of the delta of new active daily cases is looks something like this so far:

(basically the change in daily total number of confirmed cases minus death minus recovered cases)

I live in Europe and i'm not very optimistic that they can control things here. Its all very lackadaisical here. Just a few travel warnings, telling people to wash their hands, don't touch your face and keep your distance. They have established a hotline that you can call if you think you have COVID 19 and a few companies told their employees to work from home and that's more or less it.

You still have people traveling and football matches, concerts and other events are all going ahead.

Bottom line is there is no SCIENTIFIC evidence identifying where the COVID-19 originated despite all the unsubstantiated rumours peddled by western MSM and Pompeo. Yes. It was discovered in Wuhan but that is all we know.
Quite true. But the American smear campaign against China must be fought, unless we want the smearing to continue. One way to fight it is to point out some reasonably credible counter evidence. Of course, to do so here, one risks offending a moderator's notion of "unsubstantiated rumors".
