Good news 11 out of 14 temporary hospital is closed
majority of patients discharged. This virus epidemic is winding down
Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, Wuhan City has transformed stadiums and convention centers into temporary hospitals to treat patients with mild symptoms. Twelve-thousand patients have been treated at temporary hospitals since February 5. But with the number of recovered patients growing, 11 of 14 temporary hospitals have now been officially closed. There were zero deaths at temporary hospitals, thanks to the dedication of 15 medical teams from all over China. There are around 100 patients at the three temporary hospitals which are still operating.

The Twitter "review" presented no data and only assertions. Not exactly rigorous science.

Hence the chap called it a peer-review. I presumed you have expanded the thread, and he did present some data from the paper and other aspects to support his argument.

A more formal written up rebuttal can be found here:

In essence it boils down to 2 criticisms of the original paper, that theres too little evidence to present it as 2 major types of the virus (without any strong evidence of functional/clinical difference), and that there is a significant selection pressure on the mutations.
There is a counter-rebuttal below the response by MacLean. We will just have to wait and see whilst more data comes to light. However given that COVID-19 has seen an almost un-precedented publication rate from the onset, I would urge on the side of caution when some new paper comes out claiming ground-breaking discoveries; worst to be taken by the mass media and more headline-grabbing claims are spun.

133 dead is Wuhan level death rate from a couple of weeks ago! RIP to the folks in Italy. Hopefully the new quarantine measures enforced could slow the rate of expansion in Italy and Europe.

my prediction for Italy tomorrow (March 9) is 8569 -- this would be where China was around January 30
