Lockheed Martin will supply Navantia's F110 frigates with the SPY-7(V) radar. The SPY-7(V) will also go with Japan's AEGIS ASHORE and Canadian CSC programs. However, it lacks a US customer, given Raytheon has long sealed the contracts with their SPY-6 and EASR radars.

Lockheed Martin Continues Partnership With Spain For Future Frigates
Lockheed Martin recently signed a contract with Navantia to equip five new F-110 multimission frigates and their land-based test site (Centro de Integración de Sistemas en Tierra or CIST) – with Lockheed Martin’s first naval installation of its solid state S-band radar. The new F-110 frigates will be built by Spain’s national shipbuilder, Navantia.

Lockheed Martin introduces its SPY-7(V)1 radar, its first solid state --- means its AESA --- naval radar for the Canadian surface combatant and Spanish Navy programs. The radar is also meant for AEGIS ASHORE.

U.S. Government Designates Lockheed Martin's Latest Generation Radar: AN/SPY-7(V)1
Lockheed Martin's Solid State Radar has been designated as AN/SPY-7(V)1 by the United States government. SPY-7 and Aegis Ashore will defend against ballistic missile threats and provide continuous protection of Japan.

LOL noticed some headline about MKS180 earlier this week, but thought those would be corvettes, and wasn't interested ... in fact though "The naval architects calculated a length of around 155 meters for the MKS and a displacement of up to 9,000 tons."

No integrated mast? Because of the legacy equipment that can't be used on an integrated mast, you got a Burke like style mast instead. All the FFG(X) entrants all look similar with the main difference being the hull. This looks so different from the FREMM we know.

From this.

It doesn;t look like a hull mounted sonar is necessary.

It seems that the future Type 26 frigate for Canada, will be equipped with SeaRAM systems.
