No, I didn’t put it right, I meant that perhaps the shape of the accelerators may be similar to the one that the accelerator has in the D-21, and not that there should be only one accelerator. And I am confused by the fact that the area where the accelerators of the WZ-8 are suspended crosses the hatches of the chassis. It turns out that accelerators can only be installed after the WZ-8 is installed on the H-6N. Well, let's hope that we still do not have to wait so long for photos :)
Yes, the rockets are likely to be put on after WZ-8 is in place under H-6, or the combination can be a little bit too heavy and cumbersome for the lifting mechanism.
By the way, if the main engines start at the high altitude, then the flight view (your first picture in the original post) seems a little bit low (around 10,000m, similar to a commercial flight). How about using a 30,000m darker sky picture as the background?

Yes, you're right, I also wanted to place the WZ-8 higher, but alas, I did not find a good picture. Therefore, suppose that in my interpretation of the WZ-8 already at the final stage of the mission, therefore, it went down to 10,000 m :)

If you guys have a 3D model, you should throw it into a fluid dynamics software and see what happens at the suspension lugs.

The fact is that at such heights there is very little condensate that would form such bundles and at supersonic speeds they may not be. This is most likely the Prandtl – Glauert effect which forms the condensation of atmospheric moisture behind the object, but moving at transonic speeds.
